Upgrade in Progress
I was able to successfully upgrade my wordpress version with a different blog so went ahead with the wordpress upgrade on this blog and now the links to my individual posts and pages aren’t working. So, I had to change the structure of the links so they could work, but any previously published links won’t work.
Argh! I hope to have this resolved soon, but right now I am going to bed.

eek! Hope all the repairs go well! I’ve been checking the page daily - missing new cupcake recipes!

Thanks for the update. I’m new to your site, have enjoyed the archives, refer to your recipes often for my home cupcake baking.
Since I go to your site a few times a day, I just thought you rarely update. (Kinda like that 52 Cupcakes who always shows a dog in her cupcake photos!) Yuk!
So, sorry for your misfortune + look forward to your posts again.

So sorry to hear about your oven problems. I’m glad everyone is ok, I can’t imagine a fire in my kitchen. That’s one scary thought!
Hope you are up and running soon, I absolutely love your posts. =)

Wow… that is quite a tragedy. I guess I too should tend to the latest overflowing mess that I created before it’s to late.
Looking forward to a repaired oven.

Chokylit,
that is truly unfortunate!
On the bright side, your next creation will be fifty times more special because it gets to be baked in a made-over oven!

I’ve recently stumbled over yourlog, and I must say Im in love. Ive always been fond of baking and well it has to be said cupcakes are my best-friends. I just know im going to have fun trying out every one of your recipes. Quick question though, where do you get your cupcake liners. Im from the Caribbean and the liners we have here look nowhere near as sturdy as the ones I’ve seen in your photos.
Oh and is macapuno just the jelly from the coconut? Im asking because if so we call it coconut jelly here, and I saw it in a recipe of yours I’m dying to try. We havent gotten so far as to having it tinned though, you can just buy it fresh on the roadside or at the market. :)

that’s so sad about your oven. i hope you get it fixed. i lvoe your recipes.
Ryn, macapuno is a young coconut. The jelly from the coconut is different. Macapuno is sweeter and not as opaque-looking. It’s very very good.

thanks for the info Neesha. I spoke to my Filipino aunt just after posting, she said the same. Guess I should have called before huh, and saved myself some embarrassment :P
