Two questions:

1) can I make the frosting 2 days in advance and keep it refrigerated?

2) any need to adjust the quantity of sugar in the cupcake batter if my dried cranberries are sweetened?

tried out your white chocolate cream cheese frosting tonight and it turned out beautifully. loved the consistency and the flavor. much too good for the plain yellow cake i put it on! thanks.

Sounds great. It seems like it could be really sweet but the cloves would probably round out the flavors nicely. Definitely have to try this one with the rest of my holiday baking (most of the recipes are yours). You never disappoint! Two questions though: should the cream cheese be beaten with the butter? Do you mix the cranberries into the frosting or just decorate with them?

Brilliant combination! I so love cranberries – too bad we don’t get them easily around where I live. But I’ll definitely keep this recipe in case some lost cranberries show up at the supermarket.

Of course this recipe sounds divine, but what put me over the edge was the cloves in the frosting. How spicy and festive…these would be perfect for a holiday party. Perfect for my upcoming holiday party in fact!

I love this combo. I made my own version a year ago and loved it. Never made it a while chocolate cake though. Very yummy!
